What is this?

Poetic Toys is a small collection of visual-poetry experiments. Each toy takes a single poem and gives it a mechanism — a way of seeing the form move.

Can I swap in my own poem?

Some toys let you. The sestina composer, for instance, takes six end-words and writes the rotation for you. Others are tied to a specific text. Each toy’s about page says which.

Why so slow / why so quiet?

Printed slowly, in low light. The toys are meant to be sat with, not scrolled past.
